Serving Our Community
Habitat for HumanityWith funds raised through our annual Episcopal Bike Ride for Habitat for Humanity, Christ Church has been sponsoring 2-3 Build Days each year for the past 4 years. We supply a team of 15 volunteers (age 16 and up) to help build homes in Suffolk County. It's a wonderful way to love our neighbors and serve the wider community. Come join us next time!

Nourish BabylonNourish Babylon is a vibrant community meal that takes place on Monday evenings. Beyond addressing the critical issue of food insecurity, Nourish Babylon has created a gracious space and loving community for those who may feel lonely and disconnected.
Serving healthy and hearty dinners, we nourish the body and soul of our neighbors in need – good people who are struggling with basic needs such as clothing, food, and housing. |
Community GardenOur organic Community Garden provides our weekly Community Meal with fresh herbs and produce throughout the growing season. It is maintained by a group of volunteers who lovingly plant, weed, water, and harvest. With raised beds nestled around our Labyrinth, we have created a special place where people can belong and contribute.
In 2018 we will be expanding as we create a permaculture garden at the rectory. Would you like to help us? |
